Terms

Revised June 2026. Kept short on purpose.

Loading a page on this site means you're agreeing to the terms below. The single thing worth remembering: everything here is a budgeting estimate, never a quote and never advice.

What a calculator result actually is

Car, life, home, renters, disability, health, or umbrella, every number on every calculator is built from typical rating factors and public data, not a live carrier feed. None of it is an offer to insure you, a binding quote, or financial, legal, or insurance advice of any kind. Your real premium comes from an actual carrier after an application and underwriting, and that figure can land well above or below whatever a calculator here shows.

This isn't advice from a licensed professional

Nothing about using this site creates a relationship with an agent, broker, or advisor. If you need guidance on what coverage actually fits your situation, that conversation belongs with a licensed insurance agent or a fee-only financial planner, not a calculator.

How current the numbers are

We keep the underlying rate tables and formulas as current as we reasonably can, but we don't guarantee that any individual figure is exact or fully up to date at the moment you view it. Using the tools is at your own risk, and we're not responsible for decisions made off the back of an estimate.

Advertising and affiliate revenue

This site runs ads and includes affiliate links, and purchases made through some of those links can earn us a commission. None of that changes what any calculator computes; the rating logic and the ad business are separate.

Ownership of the content

The calculators, articles, and design here belong to Insurance Calculators and Encore Editorial. Linking to a page is welcome. Reproducing the content elsewhere without permission isn't.

Updates

These terms can change as the site does. Using the site after an update means the new version applies to you.
